Alejandro Ortiz Palacios is an associate in Gardere’s Mexico City office, where he advises clients on a broad spectrum of matters, including corporate and finance, real estate, mergers and acquisitions, anti-corruption and corporate compliance, project finance, antitrust, energy, health care, government bids and contracts. He routinely represents real estate developers, investors, lenders, landlords, tenants and others in commercial and multifamily real estate transactions that involve debt financing, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, lending and development of real estate projects. He also has advised federal and local governments in the development of infrastructure public projects.

Alejandro also has in-depth knowledge and experience in assisting clients with regulatory and compliance matters, complimenting the principal matters in which his practice is focused, including advising on corporate compliance in relation to Mexico’s new anti-corruption provisions.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.


AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
