Sharon Beausoleil is a senior attorney in Gardere’s financial restructuring and reorganization practice group in Houston. She focuses her practice on complex bankruptcy matters and related bankruptcy litigation for clients in a wide range of industries, including aviation, chemical, energy, maritime and refining sectors. Her clients include secured and unsecured creditors, major contract parties and parties interested in acquiring assets from distressed companies. 

Prior to joining Gardere, Sharon served as senior legal counsel in the global supply chain group for an international exploration and production company, where she handled procurement matters for operations in the North Sea, West Africa, the Middle East and the United States. 

Sharon also has prior law firm experience, where she was lead counsel for a major integrated energy company. She represented that company and its affiliates in various bankruptcy matters throughout the United States. She also was very involved in local and national professional groups, serving in various leadership roles. Sharon started her career as the law clerk to the Hon. Wesley Steen, U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas (retired).  

Sharon's extensive industry experience makes her a unique resource for Gardere clients.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.


AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
