Marco’s clients comprise many sectors, including financial services, insurance, energy, health care and real estate, and they rely on him for mergers and acquisitions, as well as a full range of corporate, project financing, compliance and regulatory matters.

Marco has a deep understanding of Mexico’s important financial, legal, insurance and labor reforms and helps his clients take advantage of the increasing opportunities available to them. He sees growing demand in the health care arena – hospitals, food and beverage companies that are regulated by Mexico health laws, and nutritional supplements and pharmaceutical companies.

Fluent in Spanish and English, with knowledge of basic French, Marco’s specific experience includes:

  • Health regulatory advice, including representation of health institutions and pharmaceutical companies in a wide range of transactions and licenses regulated by health laws in Mexico.

  • Federal regulatory advice, with strong emphasis in financial matters, including obtaining of authorizations from Mexican financial authorities to set up international financial affiliates and merge regulated financial entities.
  • Providing antitrust advice and defense, as well as notifications and other procedures with the Mexican Antitrust Commission.
  • Real estate transactions, with special emphasis on beach-restricted areas for hotel, resort and residential purposes involving trust structures, lease, construction and financing.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
