Alfredo previously served two years as the Latin American Operations Legal Director and in-house counsel at Lewis Energy Group LP, a privately-held, multinational oil and gas operator. In addition to this executive, managerial  and day-to-day responsibilities, he co-led the legal negotiations for the largest transaction in the history of the company, which involved the divestiture of a substantial portion of its producing and non-producing U.S. mineral holdings to a multinational energy corporation. He also managed and successfully resolved all of Lewis Energy's pending Texas litigation matters.

Alfredo has successfully handled many complex business disputes in both litigation and arbitration in the U.S. and throughout Latin America. He has particular experience handling oil and gas, trade secret and complex contractual disputes, and his in-house industry background allows him to effectively advocate on behalf of energy companies' interests in litigation and arbitration.

Clients value Alfredo's bilingual, bicultural abilities and perspectives. He frequently travels to Latin America to represent his clients’ interests and provides legal advice in Spanish in all areas of business. He is a recognized leader in energy policy, and has testified before the Texas Senate Natural Resource Committee on Mexico’s energy reforms and its impact on Texas.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
