Family Law

Gardere’s family law attorneys understand that legal matters related to divorce or family disputes can be stressful.  Our team helps alleviate our clients of the overwhelming process involved in child custody and support, paternity, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, modifications of child support, and custody and complex property divisions cases. We believe the best comfort we can provide for our clients is delivered through compassionate and intelligent legal support.

Combining our knowledge of the law with empathy and dedication, our attorneys help resolve matters involving:

  • Divorce (all aspects of divorce proceedings)
  • Division of property
  • Custody matters
  • Annulment
  • Modification proceedings
  • Combined termination and adoption of stepchild
  • Protective orders
  • Non-marital, pre-marital and post-nuptial agreements
  • Enforcement of decrees or orders of child support

Regardless of the financial stakes we know family law cases involve people, we place high importance on the emotional well-being of our clients. To that end, Gardere attorneys endeavor to provide effective, personal counsel to each individual client, utilizing the most appropriate avenues to resolve family conflicts.

While some cases may be more suited for resolution through the traditional court system, others may be best served through non-adversarial options such as collaborative law or mediation. In either case, our family law attorneys effectively assist and consult with each client to determine the best course of action.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance."

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
