Gardere’s Telecommunications Practice represents clients in general business transactions, acquisitions and dispositions, financings, and Federal Communications Commission and state regulatory matters. Our experience is enhanced by the Firm’s extensive experience representing telecommunications clients before such relevant agencies as the Texas Public Utility Commission and the FCC.

Specifically, the Firm’s Telecommunications Team members are quite familiar with the business and related regulatory issues, especially those involving noncommercial broadcasting. Team members have substantial knowledge and experience with all aspects of obtaining and maintaining FCC licenses for broadcasters and other regulated entities. The Firm also regularly represents clients in all commercial aspects of station business, including sales and acquisitions, human resources, contracts, music licensing, and other operational matters.
