Gardere, Arena y Asociados Earns Recognition in Chambers Latin America 2015

Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP's Mexico office, Gardere, Arena y Asociados, recently was recognized in the Chambers Latin America 2015 legal directory as being a leading Latin American law firm for its work in Competition/Antitrust, Insurance and Tax law.

Additionally, Gardere, Arena y Asociados Executive Partner Roberto Arena and Partner Fernando Camarena were recognized individually for their Tax work. Clients told the publication that Mr. Arena is "a lawyer who understands the business," and that Mr. Camarena is "excellent for complicated matters." Partner Marco Nájera also was recognized individually for his work in both Competition/Antitrust and Insurance, described by clients as "a great lawyer who always brings great results."

Gardere became one of the first U.S. law firms to establish a presence in Mexico City in 1992 and formed Gardere, Arena y Asociados, a joint venture with Arena y Asociados, in 1996. In 1998, Gardere became a founding member of the Latin American Network, a group of major law firms in North, Central and South America working together to share legal resources to meet client needs. In July of this year, Gardere announced an agreement with Arena y Asociados S.C., to combine all Mexico operations into Gardere, Arena y Asociados, making the firm a wholly owned subsidiary of Gardere (see Gardere's July 28, 2014 press release here).

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
