Our Summer Associate Program is designed to provide a realistic picture of life as an associate at Gardere. Our goal is to provide each summer associate with a sampling of the type of work that a first year or second year associate would be assigned. Most Summer Associates have frequent opportunities to:

• Draft documents
• Attend trials
• Participate in Closings
Observe Depositions
• Attend witness or client interviews
• Work on various aspects of real estate transactions
• Conduct legal research
• Prepare or respond to motions and briefs
• Work on securities offerings
• Assist in the closing of a purchase or sale of a business
