Invited Congressional Testimony, Impacts of Mexico's Energy Reforms on Texas

Gardere Partner Alfredo Ramos, from Houston, has been invited by Texas State Senator Juan "Chuy" Hinojosa (D-McAllen) to testify at the Texas Senate Committee on Natural Resources' Subcommittee Studying Impacts of Mexico's Energy Reforms on Texas on Sept. 19. The public hearing, which will take place at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, will focus on the impact of Mexico's energy reform on Texas, including discussions on opportunities for economic growth and collaboration between Texas businesses and Mexico.

Mr. Ramos, former Latin America Operations Legal Director for a multinational oil & gas operator and a South Texas native, concentrates his practice on Latin America energy and U.S. oil & gas matters. Mr. Ramos will testify to the subcommittee regarding the contractual framework to be implemented in Mexico, his Latin America oil & gas operator experience, and the impact that the Mexico energy reforms will have in Texas' local communities.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
