Practice Emphasis
John David Blakley's primary specialty is commercial litigation, helping clients to efficiently and successfully resolve complex business disputes. He also assists clients in structuring and operating their businesses in a manner that avoids disputes and minimizes risk. Mr. Blakley represents his clients in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Blakley has also developed a specialty in the field of government contracts, including federal, state, municipal and local procurement law. He assists clients in handling issues related to contract performance and requirements, with a particular focus on the International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Mr. Blakley also represents parties in disputes arising from contracts with government entities, including bid protests, requests for equitable adjustment and contract claims.
