Debbie Green’s principal area of practice is litigation, with an emphasis on commercial disputes, bankruptcy-related disputes and antitrust matters.

Prior to joining Gardere, Ms. Green worked as a litigation associate in the New York City office of Vinson & Elkins, LLP.

Ms. Green’s representative matters include:

• Representation of international securities firm in commercial litigation and NASD/NYSE arbitrations.
• Representation of veal processing and distribution company in dispute over valuable trademarks.
• Representation of financial advisor to creditors’ committee in connection with bankruptcy court litigation relating to engagement.
• Representation of joint venture between commercial real estate developers in lawsuit alleging breach of contract arising out of purchase of premier showroom building.
• Representation of claimant in International Chamber of Commerce arbitration between parties to fiber optic telecommunications cable running from the United Kingdom to Japan (The Hague Seat).
• Representation of Fortune 200®  company in breach of contract action in international arbitration conducted under the rules of the ICC (claims involved French, U.S., and Latin American assets).
• Representation of national real estate investment trust in lawsuit alleging conspiracy to violate antitrust laws.
• Representation of leading manufacturer of lubricant and car care products in lawsuit alleging violations of the Robinson-Patman Act and Sherman Antitrust Act.
• Representation of bankruptcy creditor in dispute respecting validity of bankruptcy claim in WorldCom bankruptcy.
